Lent Through a Franciscan Lens: Jesus Drives Out the Money Changers in the Temple

Lent is a time for contemplation and renewal. Throughout the next six weeks, friars will share a reflection on the upcoming Sunday's Gospel. Each session will ask "Who is this 'Good News' for in 2024?". The friar-presenters will draw on the Franciscan intellectual tradition to explore the timeless relevance of the Gospel.

In this week's Gospel reflection, Greg Friedman, OFM, and Michael Johnson, OFM, contemplate Jesus driving out the money changers in the temple.
