This series contains the papers presented at the annual symposium sponsored by the Franciscan Center of the Washington Theological Union. Each symposium seeks to explore a contemporary theological question and looks to the Franciscan Intellectual Tradition as a primary resource for approaching, exploring, and discussing the topic. The publication of this stimulating lecture series is intended to invite a wider group of men and women into a deeper level of conversation with the resources of the Franciscan Intellectual Tradition as a resource for Franciscan life and pastoral ministry in the contemporary Church and world.
